Five months to know God and make Him known: twelve weeks of teaching in Granada, then eight weeks of outreach in the nations.
The Discipleship Training School is where almost everyone in YWAM begins. For twelve weeks students live in community at our base, hear from speakers who walk with God, and learn to hear His voice, to worship and to share their faith.
Then the school travels. For eight weeks teams serve local churches and ministries in another nation and put everything they learned into practice. The school is taught in English and Spanish and is a course of the University of the Nations.

King's Kids is YWAM's ministry with children and young people. We believe children are not only the church of tomorrow: God speaks to them and through them today.
In Granada we meet children in parks, plazas and churches with games, Bible stories, songs and drama, and we stand alongside their families.

Friendship, hospitality and honest conversations about Jesus with our Muslim neighbours in Granada.
Granada has a visible Muslim community, and North Africa is a short journey south. Many of our neighbours have never had a Christian friend.
We share tea and meals, help with language and daily life, and when the door opens we talk about Jesus with respect and honesty. Our team includes believers from Morocco, so this is a conversation between friends.

Times of worship and prayer to start a prayer movement for Granada, rising before God like incense.
"May my prayer be set before you like incense" (Psalm 141:2). Incienso de Adoración, incense of worship, is our call to fill Granada with prayer.
We gather to worship and to pray for the city, its churches, its students, its Muslim neighbours and the nations. Our hope is a prayer movement that outlasts us, carried by churches across Granada. Everyone is welcome to join a time of prayer.

Granada is full of people: students from across Europe, tourists on their way to the Alhambra, families in the plazas at dusk. We go to them with hand-painted signs, music, questions and stories.
Most of all we listen. A real conversation, a prayer offered on a bench, a Bible given to someone who asked for one: this is how the gospel moves through a city.

Small groups who read the Bible together, obey what it says and share it, so that disciples make disciples.
A Disciple Making Movement starts with ordinary people reading the Bible together and asking simple questions: what does this say about God, about people, and what will I do about it this week?
Those who obey share what they found with friends and family, and new groups begin. We train believers to lead these groups in homes and neighbourhoods, so that discipleship multiplies instead of depending on a few leaders.

With Iglesia ConexiónFoodFriendship
Together with Iglesia Conexión we bring food, time and friendship to people living on the streets of Granada.
This ministry is led by our friends at Iglesia Conexión, and our team serves alongside them.
We pack bread, fruit, water and warm meals, then go out to the people who sleep in the city. The food matters, and so does sitting down, learning names and coming back the next time.

With a partner ministryCareRestoration
Alongside a partner ministry we reach out to women caught in human trafficking, with care, practical help and the hope of Jesus.
This ministry is led by a partner organisation that works with women affected by human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Granada. Our team serves with them.
For the safety and dignity of the women we meet, we do not share photographs or stories from this work. If you would like to pray or serve, write to us and we will tell you more.
Once a month we write about what God is doing in Granada: stories, prayer needs and news from the team.
